The
International Engineering and Technology University hosted a guest lecture
delivered by representatives of ACCA.
The
speakers were Zhanna Iskenova, Head of the ACCA Representative Office in
Central Asia, Mongolia and Armenia, and Assel Shkubarova, Manager of the ACCA
Representative Office.
During the
meeting, the ACCA representatives presented the international professional
qualification programme and provided detailed information about opportunities
to obtain the ACCA qualification. Participants learned which examinations they
need to take, how to prepare for them and what requirements candidates must
meet to become members of the ACCA professional community.
Particular
attention was paid to the advantages of an internationally recognised
qualification, opportunities for professional development and career prospects
in accounting, auditing and finance.
The guest
lecture enabled participants to receive up-to-date information about
international certification and broaden their understanding of the current
requirements for professionals in finance and economics.
Events of
this kind strengthen cooperation between METU and international professional
organisations and create additional opportunities for the professional
development of students.
