On 1 October 2026, the International Engineering and Technology University hosted a workshop entitled “Individual Income Taxation” for METU faculty members and students.

The event was organised by the Department of Economics and Business.

The workshop was conducted by Olga Grishchenko, Financial Director of IFC COLOS LLP and tax consultant.

During the event, participants discussed current issues in individual income taxation, specific aspects of applying tax legislation, and practical matters related to the calculation and payment of taxes.

The meeting took the form of an active professional dialogue. Faculty members and students asked the speaker questions, discussed practical situations and received expert recommendations on current taxation issues.

Workshops of this kind contribute to the professional development of faculty members and students, facilitate the exchange of practical experience and strengthen cooperation between the university and representatives of the professional community.
