On
October 15, 2026, an academic advising meeting entitled “My Choice, My Future”
was held with first-year students of the Department of Social Sciences and
Humanities and World Languages at MITU University as part of the university’s
student development activities. The primary objective of the meeting was to
help students who had recently entered the university identify their life
priorities and personal goals, recognize their responsibility for their chosen
fields of study, and develop a confident outlook on the future. During the
meeting, students shared their dreams, personal ambitions, and future goals,
discussing their chosen fields of study and the achievements they hoped to
accomplish. They explained the reasons behind their academic and career
choices, expressed their views on professional development, and outlined their plans
for the years ahead. The exchange of ideas encouraged students to assess their
abilities and reflect more thoughtfully on their future prospects. The
students’ contributions reflected their enthusiasm for learning, commitment to
self-development, and willingness to take responsibility for their chosen
professions. The meeting also encouraged them to reflect more deeply on their
decisions and recognize the importance of consistent effort in achieving their
goals.
The central message of the meeting was that the future begins with the conscious choices
we make today. Setting clear goals, demonstrating perseverance, pursuing
continuous learning, and taking responsibility for one’s decisions are
essential foundations for professional success. This academic advising meeting,
held as part of the university’s student development activities, was conducted
under the guidance of Tebegenova Altynaray Temirkhanovna, Associate Professor
of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities and World Languages and
Candidate of Philological Sciences. The
meeting encouraged students to develop greater self-awareness, clarify their
career aspirations, and adopt a thoughtful and responsible approach to their
future.
