On 25.02.2020, the faculty of the Department of «Economics and Finance» held a round table on "Strengthening the University's relationship with production" At the Kazakhstan University of engineering and technology.

The participants of the round table had the following tasks: - Identify the difficulties faced by a young specialist; – What you need to know the budding entrepreneur; – What subjects to pay more attention to in University programs; – What new requirements does the employer impose in a competitive environment?

This event was attended by the University management, faculty of the Department of Economics and Finance and students, as well as employers, Deputy Director of the regional branch of the "Damu entrepreneurship development Fund" JSC in Almaty E. Zholamanov, Director of" Icar Construction "LLP N. Amanzholov, Director and founder of"Banana Tour" LLP G. Abdrakhmanova.

In the framework of the round table, the representatives of employers told the audience how the selection of the personnel in their organizations, what are the requirements for candidates, what mistakes applicants on interviews, etc. Attended by faculty and students interested in such topical issues as the passing of a full practice, what qualifications are required now on the market of labor, do staff no work experience, do grants for education with the aim of attracting prospective employees, etc.

During the dialogue, the participants raised the issue of strategic partnership between the University in the face of the Department of Economics and Finance and organizations, the participation of employers in the formation of educational programs of the University, etc.the round table Meeting was held in a constructive and fruitful manner with the active participation of all present University management, faculty of the Department, students and representatives of employers.
