Kazakhstan Engineering Technological University marked a ceremonious event dedicated to the “Knowledge day”. Due to the pandemic situation in the country event was held in online format. The event was attended by university leadership, students and parents.

The rector of Kazakhstan Engineering Technological University, associate Professor G.A.Sarsenbekova started ceremonious event with her congratulation speech. In her speech, she noted: “The value of human capital is emphasized in the message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokaev to the people on the Day of Knowledge. This academic year is going to be very constructive. I trust that we will appreciate each-others on this path. And the despite the emergency situation in the country university leadership and teaching stuff will create all the necessary conditions to provide quality education for our students”.

This academic year, a number of our students have been replenished with the holders of the “Altyn belgi” award, laureates of republican and creative competitions, and holders of state grants. On behalf of the university, about 100 students received social support from 5 to 100 percent. Student of the 1st course of the “Bioengineering and Bioinformatics” faculty, owner of the diploma of 3rd grade of the Ministry of education and science of the republic of Kazakhstan and winner of republican competitions of scientific projects, also owner of “Altyn belgi” award Aupikova Aruzhan made a congratulatory speech. On behalf of parents Indira Toktamysova, mother of Bekezhanova Asel Nurlankyzy, 1st course student of Biotechnology specialty of “KazETU-Zerde” expressed her warm wishes.

Mikhail Nikolevich Obolonkin, a graduate of KazETU, who graduated from our university in 2020 with the degree of "Economics" and has the appropriate qualifications, is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “First Invest” investment group wished good luck to the youth students.

At the end of the event, students took part in an online conference with advisers on educational programs and got acquainted with the organization of the new academic year.
