On the 16th of February of 2021, a lecture on the theme "Prevention of Acute Respiratory Influenza, COVID-19" was read to teachers and students of KazETU colleges. Berdihan Araylym, an employee of Asmed-2 Medical Center, delivered the lecture in two languages.
During the lecture: It was noted that the symptoms of coronavirus are similar to the symptoms of acute respiratory influenza, but in many cases it is quite possible that they are symptoms of a common respiratory infection:
- sneezing
- weakness
- headache
- increased body temperature
- sore throat
- chest pain
- increased pulse rate.
It has been noted that rapid breathing is one of the main symptoms of coronavirus.
There are also two ways in which the COVID-19 virus is transmitted:
- By coughing, sneezing, and talking to a sick person through the air;
- Infected with household items.
At the end of the lecture, students were able to ask questions and get specific answers.
