Ombudsman

The Ombudsman is an organization focused on protecting students' rights, addressing their issues, and ensuring fairness and equality within the university’s academic, social, and community life.

Goals:

• Protect student rights: Safeguard students’ legal rights and interests, preventing their violation.
• Resolve student issues: Listen to students’ problems and find solutions.
• Coordinate public and academic matters: Establish communication between students and university administration, fostering understanding and cooperation.
• Increase students’ legal literacy: Provide consultations on legal matters, explaining their rights and responsibilities.
• Ensure fairness and equality: Identify and eliminate injustice and inequality among students.

Tasks:

• Review student complaints: Examine complaints submitted by students, make decisions, and communicate with the university administration if necessary.
• Provide legal assistance: Offer consultations on legal matters and provide necessary support to students.
• Participate in public events: Organize activities aimed at protecting students’ rights and interests and take part in public discussions.
• Facilitate the educational process: Identify obstacles in students’ learning and take measures to resolve them.
• Create a platform for exchanging opinions: Ensure communication between students and university leadership, harmonizing the interests of both sides.
• Address social issues: Take measures to resolve students’ social and living problems, providing social support.
• Collaborate with human rights organizations: Establish partnerships with legal and public organizations to protect students’ rights and interests.
