Club "Olketanu" Regulations

1. General Provisions

1.1. Work in the club is based on the principles of accessibility, voluntariness, and reliance on the initiative of the members of the public association.

1.2. The Club operates at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and World Languages.

1.3. The Club is not a legal entity.

1.4. The founder of the club is the Department of "SRS and MYA".

2. Goals and Objectives of the Club

The main purpose of the club is to promote the development of local lore in the area and its popularization; knowledge of the history of their small homeland, their country. Fostering love and respect for the history and culture of one's hometown.

The main objectives of the club's activities are:

• Preservation and enhancement of the cultural and historical heritage and traditions of the people of Kazakhstan;
• Obtaining local lore knowledge;
• Organization and holding of themed evenings, meetings with interesting people, at the National Museums and the MITU Library;

3. Club Membership, Rights, and Obligations of Club Members

3.1. A person over the age of 18 who recognizes this provision and expresses a desire to participate in the implementation of the goals and objectives of the club can become a member of the club.

3.2. Admission to the club is carried out by the Council at its meetings in the presence of the incoming member.

3.3. A decision is considered adopted if a majority of the total number of Council members voted for it.

3.4. A member of the club has the right to:

• Take part in club events;
• Receive from the management bodies and officials of the club any information related to the activities of the club;
• Be aware of all upcoming and ongoing initiatives and events;
• Make suggestions regarding the activities of the club;
• Be elected to the Board of the club;

3.5. A member of the club is obliged to:

• Comply with the requirements of this Regulation;
• Participate in the work to achieve the goals and objectives of the club;
• Regularly attend club events.

The meeting of the Olketanu Club is convened at least once a quarter.

The regulation was approved at the meeting of the Department of "SRS and MYA", September 09, 2024.
