“BookLab” Library Club
Goals:
- To enhance students’ reading culture and foster interest in books.
- To develop book-related skills, particularly reading, analysis, and reflection.
- To establish cooperation with libraries and cultural organizations within and beyond the university and exchange experience.
- To encourage students to develop a responsible attitude toward the spiritual, cultural, and intellectual values of society.
- To create an intellectual and cultural environment within the university through library-based formats.
Objectives:
- Organizing book-related activities: encouraging students to participate in literary, scientific, and cultural readings, discussions, and book exhibitions.
- Developing reading and thinking skills: enhancing participants’ ability to understand texts, analyze them, and express their ideas clearly and confidently.
- Developing organizational and leadership qualities: club members gain leadership, communication, and management skills through organizing events.
- Increasing participants’ academic and social engagement: involving students in reading and discussing books on relevant scientific, cultural, and social topics.
- Discussing new ideas and fostering creativity: providing opportunities for exchanging viewpoints, critical thinking, and generating new ideas based on books.
