This discipline characterizes the essence and organization of the analysis of economic activity, its methodological foundations of economic analysis, methods of information processing in economic analysis, as well as ways to measure the influence of factors in deterministic analysis. In general, the course is aimed at acquiring a set of knowledge by students to acquire skills in measuring the influence of factors in stochastic analysis, knowledge of the methodology for determining the amount of reserves in the analysis of economic activity and the methodology of functional cost analysis. The purpose of the discipline is the formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills among students on the use of the methodology of economic analysis at different stages of development and management decision-making in companies.

As a result of mastering the course, students will be able to develop a business plan and other intracompany plans, read, analyze and interpret the main economic indicators of the enterprise

The discipline forms the skills of quantitative analysis and forecasting of real economic phenomena caused by general qualitative patterns, the formation of the ability based on empirical data, using a set of statistical and mathematical methods to model the behavior of economic agents. The purpose of studying the discipline is to form students' system knowledge as the basic concepts of econometrics, to master the basic apparatus of econometric research, to be able to apply it to solve specific problems. As a result of studying the discipline, the student will master the essence of economic processes and the main indicators of their interrelation, the methodology of collecting and processing statistical information, the main classes of mathematical models for analyzing phenomena, processes; skills of working on modern software for solving analytical and mathematical problems.

The course is aimed at studying methods and models of quantitative analysis of the laws of economic theory using mathematical and statistical tools, based on the basic principles of analysis of statistical dependencies between indicators of socio-economic phenomena and processes. As a result of the training, students can analyze the main indicators of the enterprise using statistical data and modern computer software.
