Senators visited Kazakhstan engineering and Technology University

Senators of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with collectives of Almaty universities. The main purpose of the meeting was to explain the republican referendum, which will be held in our country on June 5, and exchange views on this topic. During the national political campaign, the senators visited the Kazakhstan engineering and Technology University. Among them are Deputies of the Senate Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov, Dinar Nuketayeva,Talgat Musabayev, Nurtore Zhusup, Sultanbek Makezhanov.

At the meeting, rector of Kazakhstan engineering and Technology University Gulnar Sarsenbekova noted the importance of the referendum on June 5 in the history of the country and expressed her opinion that the referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution is a vivid example of the democratic path. In turn, the rector thanked the guests who came specifically to hold a meeting on the upcoming referendum, which will occupy an important place in the future of the country. "The staff of KazETU understands the responsible stage of democratic changes in the way of building a new Kazakhstan. Supports the initiative of the head of state to hold a republican referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution of Kazakhstan. The referendum is a great opportunity for society to participate in democratic processes, democratic changes on the way to building a new Kazakhstan," says rector Gulnar Alibekovna.


Senators of the Republic of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the educational institution, consulted the staff of the University, which trains future specialists, and conducted explanatory work on the referendum. He got acquainted with the technical and basic equipment of the University and wished young people to become strong specialists. The deputies of the Senate noted that the proposed amendments and additions to the Constitution are aimed at protecting the fundamental rights and guarantees of every citizen of Kazakhstan, stability and unity in society, and called for active participation in such a referendum, not to go beyond the creation of a new Kazakhstan. They called for joint political changes taking place in the history of independent Kazakhstan.
