Within the framework of the "Olketanu" club, KazITU students under the guidance of S.D. Shaimukhanova visited the Kunayev Museum in honor of the 110th anniversary of the birth of Dinmukhamed Kunayev.
Kunaev Museum is a memorial museum and memorial apartment of Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich Kunaev. The museum is based on original documents, materials, personal belongings related to the life of an outstanding statesman, telling about the whole period of the history of Kazakhstan, starting from the moment of D.A.Kunaev's birth until his death.
It is difficult to overestimate the contribution that Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich Kunaev made for the benefit of the development of Kazakhstan - a man who, for almost half a century, led our country, under whose leadership an entire epoch passed. Of course, many years later, it is possible to evaluate the vectors of the country's development in different ways at that time, but it should be noted that Kunaev was one of those people who put the interests of the country and people much higher than their own.
The special value of the museum lies in the completeness and authenticity of the interiors of the memorial apartment. The exhibited materials give an idea of what a modest and simple man Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich was, how he lived, rested and what he was fond of.
His name is immortalized in the names of dozens of streets, schools, institutes, enterprises both in our country and abroad.
