To promote the ideology of integrity among young people and to clarify the importance of deep knowledge, “The Anti-Corruption Agency” organized, a Republican action, “Hour of Honesty” as a regular event. On May18, as a part of this campaign, it was held an online video lecture on the topic “Integrity - the Great Abai’s Heritage” with the participation of students and the staff of the College of Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University to mark 175th anniversary of the birth of Abai Kunanbayev.

The purpose of the online event is to promote the ideology of integrity and honesty among young people, that is, to stimulate the younger generation to be fair and reasonable, to explain the importance of getting an education and to have a high level of moral qualities and spiritual values. In his article “Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st Century”, President Tokayev K. K. noted: “Abai’s knowledge” is learning about yourself. Self-knowledge and sustainable human development, the priority of science and education is a manifestation of maturity. Today, the word Abai should be the guideline for the young generation. Therefore, during the online lecture, questions were considered that in the formation of the personality of our students it is necessary to cultivate honesty, kindness, morality and the life and work of the great poet Abai were widely discussed. During the online event, teachers and students expressed their views.
