Biochemistry

The purpose of the discipline is to train students to gain in-depth knowledge about the chemical composition of the body, the structure, properties of cells and about the metabolism and energy in a living organism. As a result of studying the discipline, the student masters the skills and techniques of working on devices and equipment used in biochemical laboratories of research and production profile.

Physicochemical methods of research

The purpose of the discipline is to form the student's theoretical foundations of physical methods of analysis and the ability to characterize practical skills of working on modern analytical equipment. The discipline is aimed at understanding the essence and theoretical foundations of physico-chemical methods of analysis, their applied aspects, the acquisition of skills to work on measuring analytical equipment by future specialists.

Processes and apparatus of a bio and chemical technolog

The purpose of the discipline is to form students' ability to apply the basics of hydrodynamics, heat and mass transfer to describe and evaluate bio- and chemical-technological processes. The course provides a theoretical and methodological basis for understanding the processes of hydrodynamics, heat and mass transfer for analysis, calculation of bio-, chemical technological processes. When studying the discipline, the main attention is paid to hydraulics, heat transfer in chemical equipment, physical fundamentals, kinetic laws and hardware design of mass transfer processes in chemical and bio technology.

Optimization of the experiment in chemical technology

The purpose of the discipline is the formation of knowledge and skills of students in the field of developing mathematical models based on optimization methods and computer technology in the study of chemical and technological processes. As a result of the training, the student can distinguish between methods of optimizing experimental research in chemistry and the ability to plan an extreme experiment.

Physics I

The purpose of the discipline is to apply the acquired theoretical and practical skills in the basic laws and theories, principles of physics, physical research methods, as well as the ability to conduct experiments, work with measuring instruments, process the results obtained.

Rational use of natural resources

The purpose of mastering the discipline is the formation of students' knowledge and skills on nature management in the system of interaction between society and nature, ecological and geographical foundations of nature management, the natural environment of human society and its natural potential. The discipline focuses on the study of environmental management in the main branches of economic activity, anthropogenic impact and indicators of environmental intensity, environmental intensity and environmental friendliness of production.

Biotechnology plants

The purpose of mastering the discipline is to familiarize with the main achievements of biotechnology in agriculture at the current stage of its development, with the main directions of developments in the field of genetic, cellular engineering, as well as applied aspects of the use of these methods. As a result of studying the discipline, the student acquires the skills and assimilation of basic methods and techniques, amino acids, enzymes, preparations for crop production, the creation of biofertilizers, biological products, new plant varieties resistant to various factors, the assimilation of the achievements of biotechnology methods in the processing of agricultural waste.

Environmental biotechnology

The purpose of the discipline is to study biotechnological methods of purification of water, soil, air and other objects from environmental pollution. The discipline considers the maximum permissible pollution standards in various fields and forms of their control, general information about the basic principles of cell culture, tissues and protoplasts of invitro plants, methodological foundations of the cultivation of organs, tissues, cells. As a result of the training, students will be able to analyze aquatic ecological systems, develop biological purification of polluted aquatic ecosystems, identify similarities and differences in the biological transformation of pollutants, microbiological processing of organic waste.

Technical regulation of industrial safety

The purpose of mastering the discipline technical regulations is to get acquainted with the requirements for regulating industrial safety and its implementation. The discipline is devoted to the study of the stability, novelty, change and addition of existing technical regulations, the system of ensuring compliance with technical regulations, modern means of control in the field of technical regulation.

Introduction to Specialty

The purpose of the discipline is to form students' basic understanding of the development of engineering and technology, scientific achievements in accordance with the chosen educational program. The discipline gives students a systematic understanding of the current state and trends in the development of the food, processing, industry, agricultural and industrial complex, including the possibilities of new information and communication technologies. The study of the basic concept in the field of standardization and certification, the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on technical regulation, standardization, management systems, new methods and practices of the QMS. As a result of studying the discipline, the student will receive theoretical and practical skills in the organization of the task, as well as the formulation and solution of highly motivated non-standard professional tasks, problems and compliance with the ethics of professional activity.

Physicochemical, biochemical and biotechnological fundamentals of food technology

It is a discipline that forms students' readiness to use the knowledge of the fundamentals of physicochemical and biochemical processes of food production for solving professional problems and managing technological processes of production. The purpose of mastering the discipline is the formation of knowledge in the field of basic technological processes of production of products; abilities and skills to manage changes occurring in aquatic biological resources, to obtain food with desired properties.

Industrial ecology

The purpose of mastering the discipline is to study the sanitary and hygienic requirements for the air-thermal regime of the room, an idea of the hazard class of harmful substances, the maximum permissible concentrations in the working area, the general ventilation scheme, the basic scheme of localized ventilation and its advantages.

Safety of technique and technology

The discipline forms the student's understanding of the safety of technological processes during the processing of structural materials , the safety of technological processes during the production and processing of coal, gas, oil and petroleum products, methods of assessing the safety of technological equipment, the study of protective equipment used during the operation of production equipment.

Ecology and life safety

The purpose of the discipline is to form an idea of ecology as a scientific discipline and its role in maintaining the sustainable development of nature and society. As a result of the training, the student will learn how to develop and implement methods and programs in the field of life safety, environmental protection, strategies for sustainable development of ecosystems and society, greening of production and environmental protection.

Industrial Safety

The purpose of studying the discipline is to obtain theoretical and practical knowledge by students in providing industrial production, making engineering decisions to improve working conditions and organize safe work. As a result of the training, the student will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the provision of production facilities, engineering solutions to improve working conditions, organization of safe work with technological and mechanical equipment based on the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Physicochemical basis of food technologies

Understanding the technology of production of semi-finished and finished products in catering; physico-chemical and biochemical processes occurring in the products during their culinary processing; requirements for the quality of culinary products; process control methods.

Physico-chemical, biological and biotechnical bases of food production technology

The purpose of the discipline is to form students' knowledge in the field of basic technological processes of food production, skills in managing changes occurring with aquatic biological resources to obtain food with specified properties. As a result of the training, the student will be able to interpret the basics of physico-chemical and biochemical processes of food production, solve professional tasks and manage technological processes of production.

Biological safety of biotechnological productions

The purpose of mastering the discipline is the formation of theoretical knowledge among students about the principles of biological safety of biotechnological industries, which are based on biological, technological and engineering tasks. The discipline examines the hygienic characteristics of biological objects, the concepts of the infectious process, methods for determining the pathogenicity of strains. As a result of the training, the student will be able to take part in the development of basic technological schemes, ensure the engineering and technological safety of biotechnological productions, develop new biotechnological processes in the implementation of existing ones to ensure human safety and environmental protection.
