by German language proficiency: Deutsche Sprachpruefung fuer den Hochschulzugang Niveau B1 (Deutsche Schprachprufun Fur Dein Khokhshultsugan Nivo B1) (DSH, Niveau B1) (DISIEICH, Nivo B1) - not lower than the B1 level; TestDaF-Prufung Niveau V2 (TDF Niveau B1) - not lower than level B1;
by proficiency in French: Test de Français International (TFI) - not lower than the B2 level by reading and listening sections; Diplome d'Etudes en Langue français (DELF) - not lower than level B2; Diplome Approfondi de Langue français (DALF) - not lower than level B2; Test de connaissance du français (TCF) - at least 50 scores.

Medical certificate in form 075/y in electronic format (with a fluorography image for a period of no more than 12 months);
Justification of the planned dissertation study, agreed with the alleged domestic or foreign scientific consultant;
A document confirming employment, in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the exception of foreign citizens (a copy of the work book, a personal leaflet stamped from the place of work)
List of scientific publications for the last 3 calendar years (if any), study plan and essays.
Persons who have the certificate of Test of English as a Foreign Language Institutional Testing Program (Test of English as a Foreign Language Langouge Institute of Testing Program) (TOEFL ITP) (TOEFL ITP) take additional English language proficiency testing (hereinafter referred to as additional testing) before the start of the doctoral entrance exam.

Applications for PhD students are accepted by the University Admissions Committee from October 28 to November 10, 2024, for the subsequent passing of the entrance exam for groups of educational programmes in the Regional Testing Centres.
To apply for participation in the entrance exam for doctoral studies, applicants need to go to the website of the NCT app.testcenter.kz and register in the system.
Registration for the subsequent passing of the entrance exam is allowed 1 (one) time; re-registration on the website of the NTC is not allowed.
Incoming selects 1 (one) university for admission to doctoral studies and 1 (one) GOP, chooses the place of the entrance exam.
When registering, you choose the PLACE (city) of testing YOURSELF.
Information about the PLACE and TIME of testing will be available in the Personal Account of the applicant.
If, after registration, it is necessary to make changes to the city / language of testing and the group of educational programs, you are given the opportunity to edit or delete the application until October 28 (the day the database closes).
The cost of participation in the entrance exam is 21,072 tenge.
Entrance exams
Entrance exams for groups of educational programs for doctoral studies are held from August 4 to August 20 of this year (summer admission), from November 19 to December 11 of this year (winter admission).
The entrance exam to the doctoral program is conducted on the basis of the Regional Testing Center in a computer format.
The entrance exam consists of the following blocks:
an interview with an applicant conducted by the OVPO examination board;
writing an essay;
answers to exam questions on the profile of the group of the educational program.
The final grade is a set of points obtained by summing up the results of the essay assessment, answering exam questions on the profile of the educational program group and an interview in accordance with Appendix 9 of these Rules.
The doctoral entrance exam takes 3 hours and 30 minutes (210 minutes), of which:
for an interview – 20 minutes;
writing essays and answers to exam questions on the profile of the group of the educational program – 190 minutes (3 hours 10 minutes).

Enrollment of persons in doctoral studies is carried out:
based on an international certificate confirming foreign language proficiency in accordance with the pan-European competencies (standards) of foreign language proficiency;
according to the results of the entrance exam on the profile of the group of educational doctoral programs and scored at least 75 points out of a possible 100 points.

Prerequisite programs for doctoral educational programs
Upon admission to the doctoral program, in case of a discrepancy between the profile of the educational program of the doctoral program and the educational program of higher education, the prerequisites for mastering are established for the doctoral student. Applicants are allowed to master them independently and take exams on a paid basis after passing the entrance exams. The programs of prerequisites for the educational programs of doctoral studies are developed with the relevant departments.
