Today, in order to preserve the Independence of the country, to make Kazakhstan one of the best countries in the world, to raise public stability and national consciousness to a new level, the work carried out within the framework of the program article" "The course towards future: modernization of public consciousness", announced by the head of State N. Nazarbayev, is significant."

Based on this program, on December 8, the fifth international conference in online format "Mental renaissance of Education, Science and Culture of Kazakhstan (during the years of Independence 1991-2021)" was held at the Kazakhstan engineering technological university, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 20th anniversary of the University.

The international conference was attended by scientists from the countries of near and far abroad, as well as state and public figures of the country, teaching staff of universities, students, young scientists, undergraduates and postgraduates.

At the opening ceremony of the event, rector of the Kazakhstan engineering technological university G. A. Sarsenbekova read out a congratulatory letter and told about the content of the conference, noting that "the main value of the way that Kazakhstan has gone so far is the independence of the country. The pillar of the country's independence is political stability, interethnic harmony, social, cultural development, mental enrichment, continuous economic growth."

During the conference , a report was made on the philosophy and history of mental modernization of culture, science and education of Kazakhstan during the years of Independence, a new paradigm of scientific and technological development of Kazakhstan and the world , as well as a wide range of other topics.

In this regard, among the participants of the conference were doctor of psychological sciences, professor of the Moscow state pedagogical university  V. T. Kudryavtsev with  the topic "The modern meaning of the concept of "education"", professor V. N. Pankrashchenko, candidate of philosophy of the Moscow state academic university of humanities with the "Mental traditions and digital-network technologies: opportunities and threats", Professor V. N. Pankrashchenko, professor of the Moscow state pedagogical university – academician of the Bulgarian academy of sciences, department of anthropology and folklore studies Nikolay Vukov, professor of Kalmykia state university, doctor of philosophy Badmayev V. N. made a speech, the topic of the conference was studied and suggestions were discussed.

At the end of the plenary session, work was continued in the sections. In the sections, students further added the issues that are voiced at the plenary session.The participants shared their opinions on the topic of national consciousness and mental renaissance, showed directions for the development of our national identity and culture, mental values.

At the end of the meeting, the rector of KazETU Sarsenbekova G. A. noted that "2021 is the 30th anniversary of our independence! A new historical period! The bright future of our country requires continuous development, which gives rise to hard work and high-quality education. Let's be mentally  rich in appreciating our past, evaluating our present, and believing in our future!"- she expressed her best wishes to the participants.
