The Department of Technique and technology of food production originates from the formation of the University since 2001. Currently, the Department of Technology, Equipment and Standardization trains students in 6 bachelor's degree programs and 5 master's degree programs.
The Department of Technique and technology of food production employs 3 Doctors of Sciences and 3 Ph.D., 7 candidates of Sciences and Masters of Technical Sciences to train specialists. The Department of "TEaS", in 2016, passed program accreditation for all educational programs, both for bachelor's and master's degrees.
Ensuring a high level of training of highly qualified engineering and technical personnel with high professionalism in education in selected areas, which are priorities for the food and processing industry.
